Next Journey — Gould Bay, Antarctica
November / December 2026
November / December 2026
In November, I’ll travel to Gould Bay to spend time observing and photographing emperor penguins in their Antarctic home. I’m looking forward to the encounters, the vast landscape, and the experience of being somewhere so remote.
After my return, I’ll take time to work through the photographs and put together a selection to share here, most likely in December.

This giant river otter seemed unimpressed by our presence. It approached our boat, protesting loudly.
