A snow leopard stalks its prey. The explosion of colours added in the studio symbolises the potential for catastrophe in this heavily armed border region. Such a conflict would dramatically alter the habitat, driving the snow leopards out of the area. This would follow the implementation of highly successful programmes to protect these rare ghosts of the Himalayas.
